Dear colleague,

On behalf of the European Ecological Federation (EEF) we would like to invite schools in Europe to participate in a pan European science project. The project promotes an understanding of scientific methodology through teaching and learning about biodiversity. We are aiming to work with school students in the 11-19 age range. The project has been developed by researchers and educational experts from Germany, Italy, Portugal, Turkey, and UK. All schools in Europe are invited to participate.

Present project activities include. two phases:

  • Teams of students will carry out a research project and upload the results on the project platform by 5th April 2014.
  • The teams will participate in the online competition on 29th April 2014.

The results will be evaluated by a Scientific Committee. The mentor and one student of the winner team are invited to the awarding ceremony taking place on 22nd May in Leece (Italy).

All information, resources and online tools of the project are available on the platform www.researchgame.eu. We would be very grateful if you were able to distribute this information among schools, teachers and other appropriate contacts.
